We are a kaupapa maori service. Under the umbrella of Ka Runaka o Huirapa ki Puketeraki and Ka Moeraki, the overall aim of Tumai Ora Whanau Service is to support whanau in East Otago to achieve their maximum health and wellbeing.
The key objective is to ensure seamless coordination of Primary Health & Social Provider Services, hence whanau registered with us are well informed about what support is available to them; empowered to better utilise existing services and are accessing primary health care.
Our office is based in the Waikouaiti Event Centre, Waikouaiti. We are largely community based. The premises are generally staffed from 9am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Thursdays we are based at Te Whare Koa Marae, 19 France Street, Oamaru. If we are not in the office to receive your call, you will be redirected to Kai Tahu ki Otago Limited, Dunedin.
